Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Spa Receptionist to join our team at The Westin Beach Ft Lauderdale. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet and check in guests, provide prompt and courteous service, and close out guest accounts upon completion of services.
  • Front Desk Operations: Handle cash, make change, and balance an assigned house bank. Accept and record vouchers, travelers' checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication. Retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guest. Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop effective solutions and negotiate results.
  • Team Collaboration: Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Considerable skill in the use of a calculator to prepare moderately complex mathematical calculations without error. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system. Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and move throughout the spa and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
