Position Overview:

The Construction Project Leader will provide strategic direction and daily management for all phases of the construction process. This role encompasses business development, operational oversight, and project assistance. The individual will play a crucial role in fostering relationships with key stakeholders outside the organization while ensuring that all Nabholz personnel deliver exceptional client service to promote repeat business opportunities. This position will also involve responsibilities typically associated with a Senior Project Manager, including managing a portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business development, management, and pre-construction teams to secure new projects.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients to ensure positive experiences and encourage repeat business.
  • Support business unit leaders in the operational and tactical aspects of their roles.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as necessary.
  • Drive innovation and advocate for process improvements.
  • Engage with corporate executives and preconstruction teams to develop new client relationships and project opportunities.
  • Work closely with project managers and support staff to positively influence project stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with clients, architects, and design consultants to boost company visibility.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to position the company favorably.
  • Participate actively in presentations and other methods to secure project opportunities.
  • Preconstruction:
  • Facilitate the transition from potential client to active client, ensuring comfort with the integration of Nabholz personnel.
  • Ensure proper integration of the project management team into the project.
  • Construction:
  • Guarantee client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in maintaining schedules, budgets, and mitigating risks.
  • Engage regularly with project stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues impacting project success.
  • Post-Construction:
  • Ensure all project closeout documents are submitted and client expectations are met.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients post-project completion.
  • This position is safety-sensitive regarding medical marijuana use.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated accountability and ability to hold others accountable.
  • Strong business acumen with the capacity to make critical decisions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as needed for projects or corporate responsibilities.
  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments typical of construction sites.

  • Office, cubicle, workstation, or job site.
