Position Overview


The Construction Project Specialist collaborates closely with the Land Development Department to manage a diverse range of tasks related to the construction and development of residential single-family neighborhoods.

This role provides both technical and administrative support to all stakeholders involved in a project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Development: Design all components of civil engineering projects, primarily focusing on residential subdivisions.
  • Engineering Design: Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to produce comprehensive engineering designs, including construction plans, reports, and specifications.
  • Cost Estimation: Calculate cost estimates to assess the feasibility of prospective projects and prepare detailed cost analyses upon completion of engineering designs.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, specifications, plans, cost estimates, construction schedules, plats, easements, and permits for civil engineering initiatives.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with government officials on planning, platting, and zoning for potential civil engineering projects and secure necessary approvals and permits.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the Civil Engineering sector, with a preference for residential site development.
  • Professional Engineer License for the State of Oklahoma.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Physical Requirements
  • Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds.
  • Regular movement of small objects.
  • Occasional walking or standing.
  • This position primarily operates indoors, with frequent outdoor activities required.
  • Manual dexterity and vision are necessary for constant computer use.
