Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance physician effectiveness by identifying and addressing patient care issues; providing relevant information and recommendations; executing physician directives.
  • Evaluate patient health through interviews, physical examinations, and comprehensive medical history assessments.
  • Identify abnormal conditions by conducting or ordering diagnostic tests, interpreting results accurately.
  • Document patient care activities by maintaining detailed records in patient and departmental files.
  • Administer therapeutic procedures, including injections, immunizations, and wound management.
  • Educate and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, growth and development, family planning, and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure continuity of care by developing and implementing effective patient management plans.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by adhering to established procedures and regulations.
  • Protect the health and safety of patients and staff by following infection control protocols.
  • Comply with all legal and professional requirements by staying informed on current legislation and advising management on necessary actions.
  • Enhance professional knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, and active participation in professional organizations.
  • Support team development by providing information and educational resources.
  • Contribute to team success by achieving related objectives as necessary.
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with the employee manual of Las Vegas Urology LLP.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner-Certified (NP-C) / APRN credentials.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector is required.
