Senior Analyst for Capital Investment Planning

Position Summary:
The Senior Analyst for Capital Investment Planning will be integral to the team tasked with executing the capital investment strategy aligned with the Company's business objectives. This role involves collaboration with a centralized team focused on capital investment management, working in tandem with various departments including Operations, Information Technology, Customer Service, and Operation Services to ensure effective capital deployment for projects and programs. The Analyst will leverage industry best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Location: Hybrid work model
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Capital Investment Management team to establish a standardized reporting and evaluation process that enhances accountability for capital plan execution across the organization.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, perform financial modeling, and generate reports to support decision-making regarding capital allocation.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to collect data, assess risks, and identify investment strategies that align with the organization’s objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to adopt and implement industry best practices in capital management.
- Prepare detailed investment proposals that outline potential returns, risks, and strategic implications for leadership review.
- Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the Company’s effectiveness in capital deployment.
- Advocate for and support the capital investment improvement roadmap throughout the organization.
- Propose enhancements to investment processes and methodologies to boost decision-making efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience is necessary.
- Additional education or certifications are preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical abilities and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
