About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves using hand and power tools to assemble, kit, and pack large mechanical and pneumatic assemblies.

The ideal candidate must be able to understand and follow assembly prints, work packages, and air diagrams. Familiarity with electrical assembly or sheet metal fabrication is a plus.

This position requires working individually or as part of a team on large, complicated assemblies. The successful candidate will possess good quality of work and attention to detail, with the ability to check their own work at different stages and work with minimal supervision in an ISO9001 environment.

Responsibilities
  • Drilling, tapping, and grinding of parts
  • Cleaning, packing, and crating of finished parts
  • Use of woodworking equipment
  • Material Handling and use of overhead crane
  • Use of verniers, protractors, squares, tape measures and other measuring devices
Requirements

This role requires one to three years of experience in mechanical assembly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of assembly prints, work packages, and air diagrams.

A salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year is estimated for this role, based on location and industry standards.
