Position Overview
Apex Systems is seeking a dedicated IT Operations Surveillance Officer to join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our IT operations and ensuring seamless communication across various networks.

Location: Jacksonville, NC
Contract Type: Estimated "12 Month Contract"
Compensation: $38.00 / Hourly Rate
Work Schedule: Options for 1st and 2nd Shifts Available

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and monitor both unclassified and classified enterprise networks, including email, voice, and official messaging systems.
  • Provide Tier 1 First Contact Resolution and after-hours support.
  • Conduct routine checks on network performance and provide ongoing maintenance and operational support.
  • Report any service interruptions or degradations to the Senior Watch Officer.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues as necessary.
  • Manage ticketing processes by opening and closing tickets effectively.
  • Correlate events and incidents to enhance the management of IT services.
Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Security+CE Certification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in an IT setting.
  • At least 2 years of experience with IT ticketing systems.
  • Proficient in networking and router/switch configuration.
