Position Overview:
This role is integral to the daily operations of our dental practice, focusing on patient engagement and administrative support. The individual will manage front office tasks including patient interactions, appointment management, and financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
The following duties are essential to the position. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

  • Welcome and check in patients, ensuring a friendly and inviting environment.
  • Confirm that patient records are current and accurate.
  • Update information in the practice management system and on patient charts.
  • Digitally file documents such as identification and insurance cards.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage prior to appointments and communicate benefits clearly.
  • Gather necessary documentation ahead of scheduled appointments.
  • Handle incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries via email.
  • Discuss treatment plans with patients in a clear and supportive manner.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and maintain the calendar.
  • Process patient check-outs, collect payments, and reconcile daily financial reports.
  • Conduct reminder communications to confirm appointments.
  • Maintain a collaborative and positive atmosphere within the team.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Exhibit teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following:

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Experience:
Prior experience in a dental front office is preferred. Familiarity with dental software is advantageous.
