Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate meetings with clients, site managers, and team members.
  • Understand and navigate relevant building codes.
  • Maintain Project Document Control and travel to job sites as necessary.
  • Work in tandem with Project Managers to update and manage the Project Schedule.
  • Stay informed about safety regulations and advancements in construction practices.
  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from initial planning to final implementation.
  • Allocate resources effectively for assigned projects.
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Engage with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and local officials.
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship that align with original plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in construction management or related fields.
  • Familiarity with PROCORE construction management software is advantageous.
  • Exemplary leadership skills.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on deadlines.

Work Hours and Benefits: This is a full-time position.

Ballast Construction offers comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and a 401k plan with company matching up to 4% of the employee's salary contributed to the 401k.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is essential.
  • Experience with PROCORE Project Management software is preferred.
