Job Summary

Crawl Space Ninja is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Operations Manager to oversee the accounting operations of the company. This is a key role that requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting Operations
    • Oversee the design and implementation of an adequate system of accounting records and controls.
    • Maintain a comprehensive set of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
  • Financial Analysis
    • Provide financial analyses and recommendations to management on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
    • Develop and maintain a system of management cost reports.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of accountants and financial analysts.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure the team has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
