About Us: Monte Nido is a specialized residential treatment program designed for adolescents facing challenges related to eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction.

Our mission is to guide adolescents and their families towards a path of complete recovery, equipping each young person with the tools necessary to overcome the obstacles posed by their eating disorders. We prioritize empathy, education, and family involvement throughout the recovery journey, fostering a supportive environment where adolescents can cultivate healthy skills and embrace their unique identities.

We are currently seeking a part-time Recovery Coach to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital contributor in facilitating and supporting clients throughout their recovery process.
  • Deliver support and interventions aligned with each client's individualized treatment plan.
  • Encourage clients to build healthy and meaningful relationships with peers and staff.
  • Assist with meal preparation and setup; model and supervise client dining experiences.
  • Participate in therapeutic group activities and help develop essential skills for clinical progress.
  • Conduct regular rounds and provide insightful observations.
  • Occasionally transport clients for off-site appointments and activities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of post-secondary education; a Bachelor's degree in Psychology is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health environment is highly desirable (and may be required in certain regions).
  • A valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a service-oriented mindset; adaptability; and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
