This position operates under the guidance of the Anesthesia Technician Manager, ensuring high standards of service and support to anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and operating room personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts various physiological monitoring functions, utilizing a range of devices and techniques to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Manages inventory levels effectively, contributing to cost-efficient supply management practices.
  • Exhibits proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting invasive monitoring devices, including:
    • Arterial line configurations
    • PA catheter setups
    • Cardiac output monitoring
    • ECG attachment and diagnostics
    • Point-of-care testing
    • Autologous blood recovery systems
    • Directional Doppler usage
  • Maintains a comprehensive procedural database, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform clinical and technical competencies specific to the assigned department.
  • Engages in additional responsibilities as required, adapting to the dynamic needs of the healthcare environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate of Science degree.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in anesthesia technology or related clinical roles.
Licensure and Certification:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
