Construction Risk Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at Alexander & Schmidt. As a Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections of commercial construction sites and preparing reports for insurance underwriting purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of commercial construction sites to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Prepare detailed reports for insurance underwriting purposes, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in construction project management, safety officer, insurance construction specialist, or safety specialist.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in computer skills and ability to use web-based systems.
- Travel within a reasonable territory, approximately 60 miles radius.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CCM, CSM, CSMC, or CSD.
