Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for annual plans, monthly forecasts, and performance reporting for Engineering & Technology.
  • Partner with business to ensure accuracy for spend, headcount, and other key metrics based on operational performance.
  • Support monthly results analysis and generate regular reporting, providing detailed explanations for variances and researching open items.
  • Update monthly metrics and scorecard metrics for quarterly executive meetings.
  • Lead thoughtful analysis, proactively evaluating key drivers and metrics, and partnering on driving operational efficiencies and performance.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team on accruals and other elements of the close process.
  • Prepare insightful presentations for senior management to concisely summarize performance targets, forecasting, and monitoring key spend areas to assist in optimizing margins and unit economics.
  • Assist with and manage ad hoc projects to support senior management and business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Finance, accounting, or related degree preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated analytical and systems skills, and a self-driven desire to investigate variance issues.
  • Experience with corporate computerized budgeting/accounting systems and multi-dimensional database management tools.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation.

Compensation Information:

The U.S. salary range for this position is $$ This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
