About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Healix, LLC. As an Infusion Therapy Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Work closely with our physician-clients and corporate nursing team to ensure seamless patient admissions and care coordination.
  • Administer Intravenous Medication: Safely access PICC lines and administer medication to patients in our infusion center setting.
  • Prepare Medication: Prepare medication for administration to patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers on infusion drug therapy, promoting understanding and adherence.
  • Clinical Monitoring: Monitor patient treatment, progression, safety, and outcomes, communicating effectively with the care team.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work collaboratively with practice staff, corporate nursing support team, business office, and client services to ensure patients receive exceptional care.
  • Site Management: Manage onsite nursing functions, including patient scheduling, daily service charting, inventory management, and coordination of follow-up care with physicians.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience working as a registered nurse in a clinical setting, with critical care or outpatient/homecare infusion experience preferred.
  • Certifications: State Board of Nursing Licensed; active and unencumbered, with valid basic life support (BLS) certification.
  • Skills: Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to work independently and in partnership with the corporate clinical team.
