Location: Marietta, OH

Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Contract

Work Type: Onsite

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to significant work that aids in the search for cancer cures, environmental protection, and food safety.
  • Your contributions will have a tangible impact, and you will receive support in achieving your professional aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and perform all tasks using the necessary safety equipment in line with company policies.
  • Examine work orders for product specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct visual inspections of components and finished units during assembly to ensure quality and precision.
  • Select and assemble parts in the correct order, utilizing drilling, riveting, and other methods to meet specifications.
  • Choose suitable sub-assemblies or component parts and install them according to design specifications.
  • Implement wiring harnesses, sensors, and other electrical components in the unit as per specifications.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools, including drills, rivet guns, and saws.
  • Complete assembly processes to finalize the unit in the designated sequence.
  • Ensure that the finished unit meets the specified quality standards before transferring it to the next workstation.
  • Be capable of foaming completed cabinets according to engineering specifications.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the immediate work area on a daily basis.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing experience with proven product assembly skills.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capability to read, interpret, and follow wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Ability to read and distinguish part numbers, labels, and work instructions.
  • Frequent standing, bending, reaching, and handling of bulky parts is typical for this role.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
