Position Summary: The Production Associate plays a crucial role in our production team, working collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This position involves operating various production machinery and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. After completing the necessary training, the Production Associate will independently interpret job orders and manage the manufacturing process from setup to completion.

Shift Details: Evening shifts from 6:30 pm to 6:00 am on weekends or a rotating schedule including Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately interpret job orders, instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Set up and operate diverse machinery in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Continuously assess product quality, ensuring compliance with departmental procedures.
  • Document defects and quality data, and engage with the quality management system to address issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Report all incidents, near misses, and safety concerns immediately.
  • Participate in cross-training for various operations and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong focus on quality with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for updating electronic records and data entry.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift weights between 25-50 pounds.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English as required for the role.
  • Consistent attendance and willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
  • Comfortable in a manufacturing setting with machinery and noise.
  • Willingness to learn and operate different machinery through cross-training.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
