Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Superintendent to join our team at IES Residential Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installation process for new construction multifamily projects in the Indianapolis area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan electrical installation projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
  • Supervise and manage electrical installation teams, including field foremen and crews.
  • Develop and implement training programs for electrical installation teams to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure project guidelines and expectations are met.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Resolve conflicts and challenges with field personnel and project managers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Prepare and conduct performance evaluations for electrical installation team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to improve electrical installation processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation and project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing electrical installation projects and teams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
