Job Summary

AVI-SPL is seeking a highly skilled AV and Webcast Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide on-premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer sites, ensuring a world-class customer service experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide start-up and dedicated support for on-site, hybrid, and virtual meetings.
  • Offer end-user support on the operation and use of collaboration technologies.
  • Coordinate with service providers and other teams to ensure all end-user requirements are met for supported meetings.
  • Regularly check and maintain AV and videoconferencing rooms, ensuring they meet established standards.
  • Work flexible schedules as required.
  • Provide direct assistance and training to end-users on the operation of AV systems and collaboration technologies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including completing service tickets and maintaining associated records.
  • Ensure compliance with all customer safety and procedural guidelines.
  • Track all maintenance activity from start to finish with proper documentation.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Create, schedule, and manage webcasting events for the US, Canada, Central America, South America, and Australia.
  • Provide start-up or dedicated support for webcasting events when required.
  • Create and maintain documentation for the service in partnership with the global resolver and management teams.
  • Coordinate updates to relevant end-user interfaces and tools to ensure continued end-user experience workflows.
  • Coordinate with webcasting services vendors and support teams to ensure Novartis' webcasting services run per SLA.
  • Attend and assist with regular calls for the Americas and EMEA resolver teams to coordinate ongoing projects and ensure end-to-end service alignment.
  • Coordinate and facilitate additional services associated with webcasting solutions.
  • Provide periodic and ad-hoc reporting for the supported services.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of audiovisual integration experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner, including soldering and crimping connectors.
  • Ability to work and think independently, ensuring to meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control.
  • Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal education in Electronics or a related field preferred.
  • Preferred external training: AMX Intro to Networking for AV Professionals, Crestron Professional Installation, Exton AV Associate Certification, AVIXA Quick Start to the Audio-Visual Industry, and AVIXA CTS General Certification.
