Company Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager will play a crucial role in the preparation of regular filings with regulatory bodies, overseeing the assembly and analysis of monthly and quarterly internal reports, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting financial assessments along with technical accounting inquiries. This role will also engage in various finance and accounting projects as needed. The position reports directly to the Director of Financial Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the preparation of essential filings such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, registration statements, pro forma financial statements, and proxy filings.
  2. Facilitate the coordination and compilation of financial reporting packages for senior management and the Board of Directors on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  3. Review budget-to-actual variance analyses provided by controllers and prepare consolidated level explanations.
  4. Contribute to the design of reporting systems and processes that improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial packages.
  5. Collaborate with accounting, finance, and investment teams across various international locations to prepare and finalize supporting documents for public disclosures, investor presentations, and Board materials.
  6. Manage data requests and analyses for both internal and external audit processes.
  7. Assist in accounting research and the development of new disclosures.
  8. Conduct industry benchmark comparisons and analyses.
  9. Provide standard and ad-hoc financial analyses as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. 4-6 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting, with at least 3 years in public accounting.
  3. Experience in the investment management or real estate sector is preferred.
  4. Familiarity with 10-K and 10-Q reporting processes.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  6. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is preferred.
  7. In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and experience in financial statement preparation.
  8. Experience with Workiva/Webfilings/Wdesk software and knowledge of XBRL is advantageous.
  9. Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  10. Ability to work independently and interact professionally with personnel at all levels.
  11. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, along with skills in MS PowerPoint and MS Word.
  12. Capability to meet tight deadlines.
