- Collect blood specimens from patients using standard/butterfly methods
- Label and process laboratory/microbiology specimens according to laboratory policy
- Register patients accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to patients, staff, and outside providers
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of phlebotomy program
- National Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a blood draw station, ambulatory care, or acute care setting
- Knowledge of information systems and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
