About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Masonry Department at Arnold Lumber Company. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly and courteous manner, providing information on products and services.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions, including order entry, sales quotes, and cash handling.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and perform cycle counts as directed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with internal customers and departments to ensure seamless service and support.
  • Store Operations: Participate in daily store opening and closing procedures, including cash drawer management and store cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 1+ year of customer service or sales experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
