Cupertino, California, United States Apple Full time

We're seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Display Technologies group at Apple, located in Cupertino, California. This role involves designing and developing innovative display modules for future products.

As a member of our team, you'll create next-generation technologies, processes, and components, and own the integration of them into groundbreaking, mechanically robust display designs with amazing performance.

Your responsibilities will include defining the module mechanical architecture based on optical, electrical, mechanical, and other cross-functional requirements. You'll work closely with the system team to define the interface to the product, including fit, assembly features, and tolerance analyses, and deliver any needed specifications, including 3D/2D models.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer to act as a focal point among multiple cross-functional teams and suppliers, identifying open issues, driving them to closure, and delivering mechanically robust displays.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering fundamentals, experience leading mechanical design and validation, and expertise in software such as 3D modeling tools like Pro/E, NX, CATIA, or Solidworks.

This position offers a competitive salary of $185,000 - $315,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you'll be eligible for Apple's employee stock programs, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, and a range of discounted products and services.
