Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $170,000-$280,000 based on industry standards and location. This includes a base pay range of $130,000-$230,000 plus potential discretionary bonuses or commission payments.

Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact project that will shape the future of Apple's display products. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will lead the development and ramp of a next-generation Apple product. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and providing feedback on design intent, setting standard manufacturing practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at concept phase. You will also develop new and/or improved processes for parts and assemblies, drive corrective actions, and present technical issues and updates to the management team and cross-functional team regularly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience in process development/bring up and qualification, program/project management experience, manufacturing or supplier management experience, and working knowledge of GD&T and Engineering Drawing Interpretation. You should also have good command of Excel and JMP, knowledge of Metrology design and Optical/Contact Measurement Equipment, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and strong teamwork skills. A BS (MS preferred) in mechanical, materials or chemical engineering is also required.
