Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is $150,000-$250,000 based on industry standards and location. This includes a base pay range of $122,300-$227,600 plus potential discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
Job Description
This highly visible role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Apple's display products. As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will lead development and ramp for a next-generation Apple product. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and providing feedback on design/design intent, setting standard manufacturing practices, and partnering with cross-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at concept phase. You will also develop new and/or improved processes for parts and assemblies through theoretical and practical engineering, drive corrective actions cross-functionally, and present technical issues and updates to management team and cross-functional team regularly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, experience in process development/bring up and qualification, program/project management experience, manufacturing or supplier management experience, and working knowledge of GD&T and Engineering Drawing Interpretation. You should also have good command of Excel and JMP, knowledge of Metrology design and Optical/Contact Measurement Equipment, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and strong teamwork skills. A BS (MS preferred) in mechanical, materials or chemical engineering is also required.
