We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Altus Community Healthcare.

Job Summary

This role involves operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician. The ideal candidate will have excellent patient positioning skills and be proficient in radiation safety techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain awareness of departmental policies and operational procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment, including cleaning and QA procedures.
  • Communicate with patients regarding exam benefits and risks.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration and lab checks.
  • Facilitate departmental operations through completion of necessary forms.
  • Maintain safety precautions to minimize radiation exposure.

The successful candidate will possess basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology and be able to apply principles of radiology to obtain diagnostic quality images.

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • At least 1 year of radiologic/imaging experience and CT experience.
