About the Role:

Lake Huron Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist II to join its award-winning team. As a member of Prime Healthcare, a Top-15 hospital system in the United States, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
  • Function as the first line interface with customers and successfully accomplish their imaging needs.
  • Participate in PI/ QC activities and assist in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program.
  • Oversee radiology area and/or staff in Manager's / Director's absence.
  • Maintain department supplies and promote teamwork and good customer service.
  • Do scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintain supplies and equipment for assigned sub department.
  • Responsible for Processing and transmission of Images to PACS.

Requirements:

  • Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • One year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
  • Proficient computer skills.
