Position Overview

Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Company: MASHPOINT LLC

Role Duration: 6+ months

Working Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all incoming shipments (both inventory and non-inventory items)
    • Verify the quality of received shipments
    • Accurately process documentation in accordance with Purchase Order details by performing a three-way match with packing slips, ERP systems, and product specifications.
    • Finalize receipts in the ERP system
    • Analyze MRP for demand on incoming products and allocate to ongoing projects as necessary.
    • Collaborate closely with the Buyer/Planner to address any discrepancies in quantity or damage.
    • Label and correctly position inventory items in designated areas.
  • Retrieve components for production tasks and record parts in the ERP system; assist in resolving any shortages. Update the Manufacturing Schedule and Open Item Reports concerning pull and issue status.
  • Execute inventory transactions within the ERP System, including all necessary ECO design change inventory transactions.
  • Implement a daily production inventory cycle count program, including prompt investigations and resolutions as required.
  • Handle miscellaneous daily shipping requirements for the facility, such as RMAs.
  • Replenish and manage essential inventory control, receiving, and shipping supplies.
  • Coordinate effectively with off-site cleaning vendors to support the Manufacturing Schedule.
  • Process incoming DMRs by receiving Purchase Orders as necessary, notifying Quality Assurance, closing DMR jobs, labeling, and locating items.
  • Assist Customer Service demands by initiating jobs, retrieving parts, kitting items, and closing jobs.
  • Reorganize items and consolidate locations/parts as necessary to enhance space utilization.
  • Advise on inventory control strategies regarding slow-moving and/or obsolete stock, stocking levels, storage, and replenishment policies.
  • Contribute to inventory and warehouse enhancement initiatives.
  • Adhere to and promote all organizational safety training and policies.
