**Job Summary:**

We're seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a mobile radiologic technologist, you'll travel locally to perform portable x-rays in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient locations. Your day-to-day experience will include:

* Traveling by vehicle to perform portable x-rays in a variety of settings
* Determining proper electronic and technical factors based on patient needs
* Following ALARA principles for reducing radiation exposure
* Preparing accurate physician and patient orders and transmitting reading as required in a timely manner
* Setting, adjusting, and operating a variety of electronic equipment to obtain diagnostic images that may include EKG's and Holter Monitor
* Ensuring the equipment is available and in working order (in the vehicle) prior to shift start and shift end
* Assisting with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

* Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including one or more of the following:
* Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
* Limited Scope X-ray Operator — in accordance with State-specific requirements
* State x-ray license (if applicable)
* Has a valid state-issued driver's license and maintains a good driving record
* Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
* Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment
