Job Description

Pricing strategy plays a vital role in commercial operations, providing essential support to the sales organization through performance analytics and modeling aimed at enhancing value creation and facilitating the execution of strategic objectives.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design queries utilizing both internal and external database systems to generate analyses and reports regarding sales and profitability, focusing on contract progress, group membership, and pricing eligibility.
  • Process substantial volumes of data to extract significant insights and present concise, relevant, and decision-supportive information in an engaging format, ensuring stakeholders have access to clear and accurate financial data.
  • Perform analyses to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvements to boost efficiency and enhance customer relationships.
  • Determine optimal pricing structures and sales funnels.
  • Monitor contracts to ensure consistency and uniformity in pricing.
  • Supervise ongoing contract analyses by verifying and managing compliance issues, including implementing corrective actions to support the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • Prepare financial impact reports for bids, proposals, and renewals for review by relevant departments.
  • Investigate bundling opportunities, assess their effectiveness, and adapt strategies to better capture sales and margin potential.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics roles such as sales operations, finance, or IT.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams, utilizing business intelligence, data visualization, and CRM tools.
  • Proficiency in Excel macros, Access, SQL, and familiarity with advanced decision support analytical tools (e.g., decision analysis software, Monte Carlo simulation, optimization).
  • Ability to meet the physical, cognitive, and environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.

Philips Transparency Details

The compensation range for this position is $66,000 to $100,000 annually, with actual base pay varying based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include annual incentive bonuses, sales commissions, or long-term incentives. Employees are eligible for our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes generous PTO, 401k matching, HSA contributions, stock purchase plans, education reimbursement, and more.
