Job Overview

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking talented individuals to become part of our team as Production Testing Specialists.

Position Summary:

As a Production Testing Specialist, you will engage deeply with the complex realm of electronic circuits. Your role will involve interpreting PCB schematics and diagnosing issues down to the individual component level, ensuring our products adhere to the highest quality standards. Utilizing advanced testing instruments and state-of-the-art equipment, you will evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize components and products, guaranteeing their excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting of less complex assemblies and final systems.
  • Monitor production processes closely, enhancing them for improved quality and efficiency.
  • Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, applying your knowledge of electronic theory.
  • Set up, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Address any necessary rework resulting from testing issues.
  • Compile your findings into clear and informative reports.
  • Occasionally assist in the setup of specialized testing equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology or a related field.
  • Experience as a high-power electronics or avionics technician is highly desirable.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience demonstrating your technical skills and expertise.
  • Must qualify as a US Person under ITAR regulations.

Work Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Compensation: $24 to $34 per hour, based on experience.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with circuit boards, processors, and chips.
  • Experience with industrial control software, including Control and data acquisition software (HiPot).
  • Skilled in using hand tools and soldering equipment for repairing or replacing defective circuitry.
