About the Role:

CRMG is seeking an experienced Affordable Property Manager to join our team in Downtown Portland. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a 90-unit low-income housing tax credit apartment community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, including marketing, maintenance, and resident services.
  • Screen prospective residents, collect rents, and prepare reports and agreements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve property integrity and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality resident services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including landlord-tenant laws, fair housing laws, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Two years of previous customer service experience.
  • One year of previous property management experience.
  • Experience with LIHTC communities required.
  • Previous experience with Entrata Property Management Software preferred.
  • Basic experience with MS365, including Teams, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks, including collecting rent and preparing reports.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies.
