Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Systems Designer to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing hardware and software solutions for HVAC control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop hardware and software solutions for HVAC control systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation and submittals for customers and stakeholders
  • Respond to basic warranty calls and troubleshoot issues with subcontractors and other trades
  • Assist in the loading and commissioning of system and network-level controllers
  • Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and software
  • Provide site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system
Requirements
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and advanced computer skills
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or 5 + years in the HVAC field
  • Experience with installing and/or commissioning controls systems or designing or evaluating mechanical/electrical building systems or control systems
