Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate all equipment, including cash registers, credit card machines, and other point-of-sale systems.
- Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
- Prepare products, including pizzas, salads, and other menu items.
- Receive and process telephone orders, taking accurate and detailed information from customers.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Clean equipment and facilities, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be exposed to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. You will also be exposed to in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas. Additionally, you may be exposed to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces/tools from the oven.
You will be required to stand for most tasks, with some walking and sitting. You will also be required to lift bulk product deliveries, which may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds. You will be required to carry large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough over short distances.
You will be required to push and pull trays on dollies, and you may be required to climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance. You will also be required to stoop, bend, and reach to perform tasks such as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel or washing dishes.
You will be required to use your hands continuously during the day, with frequent and forceful use of your forearms and wrists. You will be required to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter, and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
You will be required to use pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
