Position Overview

The Space and Intelligence Sector is in search of an Expert-level (18+ years) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Integration Engineer to join our dynamic Sensor Integration team. This role can be based in either Springfield or Chantilly, VA.

Key Responsibilities

The Sensor Integration team plays a crucial role in supporting the Government by offering systems engineering and integration assistance for the NGA's Sensor Integrations (TIS) Office. This team is responsible for providing strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the incorporation of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture. This position is integral to our NSG Radar Ground (NRG) program.

Expert-level SAR Integration Engineers are tasked with leading the development of program and project integration solutions across the enterprise. They are responsible for identifying integration/interface requirements and collaborating with systems engineers, solutions architects, and programmers to ensure seamless interoperability of applications and systems, delivering comprehensive mission solutions while maintaining the integrity of the system-of-systems enterprise.

Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or a related STEM field, or equivalent additional experience of 4 years without a degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
  • Proven experience in government or industry integrating systems that process SAR data.
  • 18+ years of relevant experience in government or industry, including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process, or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments in cloud, on-premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or a related STEM field.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Experience in integrating solutions utilizing structured and unstructured Big Data.
  • Experience in integrating solutions leveraging Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
  • Experience in integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
  • Prior experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work.
  • Previous involvement in IC or DoD program/project work.
