Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify interdependencies across teams; collaborate with Government Product Owners for SRB, CRB, and ORB processes; ensure teams deliver capabilities that enhance mission effectiveness.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between Government Product Managers and lead developers to guarantee seamless integration and interoperability of end-to-end capabilities.

  • Engage with clients to ascertain and clarify software requirements.
  • Analyze and recommend both short-term and long-term budgetary strategies.

  • Participate in working groups to optimize costs, assess risks and gaps, and provide strategic guidance.
  • Evaluate and analyze high-profile projects for effectiveness.
  • Monitor project performance to identify necessary adjustments, including portfolio rebalancing.
  • Interface with Government engineering teams and senior management.
  • Collaborate closely with third-party vendors/service providers on all aspects, including application upgrades and production support.
  • Deliver comprehensive project management support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Map resources to projects to provide insights into resource utilization.
  • Apply program management principles to enhance project implementation, reporting, and internal metrics.
  • Manage and execute change management activities.
  • Offer expert advice and support to the development team regarding the construction and maintenance of robust, secure, and efficient applications.
  • Research emerging technologies to evaluate their potential for improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making on IT systems and computing infrastructure efficiencies.
  • Devise strategies to enhance existing technical systems and architectures.
  • Design and implement new systems by selecting and configuring appropriate software.
  • Oversee the installation and configuration of new software and capabilities.
  • Conduct testing to ensure systems function as intended.
  • Train end users and create instructional manuals.
  • This role is hands-on and requires Security+ certification.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree with 4 years of experience, Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, Associate's degree with 12 years of experience, or a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in API development, AWS services (S3, DIODE, SNS/SQS, SDK development, CloudFormation), Apache NiFi, ElasticSearch, PKI, Terraform, Jenkins/GitLab CI, containerization (e.g., Docker), and basic shell programming and system administration.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with integration skill sets, including automated testing tools such as Cucumber, Pact, JMeter, Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK) framework, understanding of ICD503 A&A controls, AWS Lambda, Ansible/Salt, PCF, and Kong.
  • Relevant software/hardware/management training and certifications (e.g., specialties like Amazon Web Services architect/engineering).

Compensation:

$165,000 - $175,000, based on experience and educational background.
