Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to establish and maintain high-quality database management systems, ensuring seamless data delivery and integrity.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to document complex database designs.
  • Evaluating and installing various database management systems is a key responsibility of this role.
  • A strong background in programming languages, especially Python, is necessary for success in this position.
  • This role involves building comprehensive databases, including windows, screens, and reports.
  • The Data Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user interfaces and business application prototypes.
  • Quality assurance is an essential aspect of this role, requiring the development of test application code in a client-server environment.
  • The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing database specifications and attributes based on business requirements.
  • As an experienced Data Engineer, you will work closely with clients to understand their original data and storage mechanisms.
  • Determining the appropriateness of data for storage and optimal storage organization is crucial in this role.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 or 9 years of directly relevant work experience are required. Alternative qualifications may include a PhD, Law degree, Master's degree, Associate degree, or High School diploma with additional experience.
  • The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with at least one programming language, preferably Python.
  • Extensive experience in data engineering concepts and handling data is essential.
  • Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
  • An expert-level Data Engineer with experience in Data-Bricks is highly desirable.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
