We are seeking a seasoned software development engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join our team at Hire Talent. As an AWS specialist, you will play a key role in designing and developing technical solutions that serve other engineering, data, or business-facing teams.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

About the Role

As an AWS specialist, your primary responsibility will be to design and develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB. You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based applications using AWS services
  • Develop and implement automated testing and deployment scripts using Jenkins and Docker
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes
  • Ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems and data
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS trends and best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on AWS and cloud computing
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and DynamoDB
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
