As the Director of Quality Management at Walmart, you will oversee the quality efforts of multiple facilities within your division. Your primary responsibility will be to implement quality standards and ensure that supply chain operations adhere to the highest quality standards. You will work in partnership with Quality engineers and QA professionals to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems that boost our business from supplier to customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure all operations meet or exceed customer expectations.
Lead by influence without direct authority, developing your team's skills and identifying knowledge gaps.
Effectively lead change and implement initiatives through all levels and areas of the distribution center.
Use quality data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
Foster a culture of quality across the organization, driving continuous process improvement and innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related area and 5 years' experience in consulting, technical project management, business strategy, or related area.
2 years' supervisory experience.
Strong background in quality control systems and practices.
Ability to analyze quality data and metrics.
Effective communication and influence skills.
