Job Summary

The Director of Supply Chain Management will lead a team responsible for enterprise ReCommerce sales programs, collaborating with key strategic partners to generate hundreds of millions through restock, refurbishment, online marketplaces, and other secondary markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct a flow path channel from supplier to store to best fit sales, in-stock, and profit metrics.
  • Collaborate between supply chain stakeholders to ensure sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals are achieved.
  • Track the movement and arrival of goods across the supply chain.
  • Present recommendations to address conflicting goals.
  • Identify order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain constraints that will impact supply chain execution.
  • Develop and coordinate a resolution.
  • Communicate operational expectations to suppliers and transporters.
  • Address performance-related issues with stakeholders.
  • Direct supply chain flow process improvement efforts.
  • Oversee the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders.
  • Prioritize product flow plan objectives.
  • Ensure flow plans are achievable.
  • Champion innovation to simplify current solutions and methodologies.
  • Manage the correction of errors processes and feedback loops.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels.
  • Support the use of end-to-end costing methodology and lean concepts.
  • Provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste.
  • Provide opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies.
  • Review and analyze the impact and benefits to internal processes.
  • Oversee relationships with external parties.
  • Supervise the main point of contact for external partners.
  • Communicate expectations and agreements to external partners.
  • Consolidate and communicate relevant findings and information to external stakeholders.
  • Lead audit processes to ensure external partners comply with company standards and agreements.
  • Utilize quarterly scorecards to measure and correct performance.
  • Assist senior leadership with the selection of service providers.
  • Provide overall direction.
  • Analyze business objectives and customer needs.
  • Develop, communicate, build support for, and implement business strategies, plans, and practices.
  • Analyze costs and forecasts and incorporate them into business plans.
  • Determine and support resource requirements.
  • Evaluate operational processes.
  • Measure outcomes to ensure desired results.
  • Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
  • Promote a customer environment.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and sponsor continuous learning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce.
  • Diagnose capability gaps.
  • Recruit, select, and develop talent.
  • Support mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
  • Leverage the capabilities of new and existing talent.
  • Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Integrate these values into all programs and practices.
  • Develop consequences for violations or non-compliance.
  • Support the Open Door Policy.
  • Develop and leverage internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals.
  • Sponsor and lead key community outreach and involvement initiatives.
  • Engage key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives.
  • Support associate efforts in these areas.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 5 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • 3 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
  • 2 years' supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dispatch, Fleet Management, Network Analysis, Retail Logistics Operations.
  • Masters in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Project Management Professional - Certification, Six Sigma - Certification.
