As a Field Sales Representative for the Fluid Solutions Division at United Rentals, you will serve as the primary voice and initial contact for our industry-leading company. Your sales expertise will be utilized to rent and sell specialized Fluid Solutions equipment, including hydraulic pumps. We depend on your outstanding sales and consultative abilities to comprehend the needs of potential clients and transform them into loyal customers. You should be driven and sociable, with a passion for engaging with clients, fostering relationships, and promoting our equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Optimize revenue from facilities and construction sites within a designated geographical area Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients and their affiliated companies, serving as the primary point of contact for these clients Identify and qualify new accounts from current clients, dormant or non-client accounts, including competitor accounts Collaborate with representatives from specialty divisions to encourage cross-selling opportunities Develop sales action plans and strategies Create and deliver presentations of company products and services to current and prospective clients Utilize Sales and other CRM tools to build a pipeline of opportunities Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and product advancements Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Minimum of three years of sales experience Exceptional skills in relationship-building and communication Strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills Familiarity with construction or related equipment is preferred Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

This position offers a base salary along with monthly commissions based on performance.

A guaranteed minimum monthly incentive is provided during the onboarding and training phase.

This role is classified as Safety Sensitive in accordance with United Rentals' policies and procedures.
