Field Sales Representative

J Bar Enterprises, LLC is seeking a dedicated Field Sales Representative to enhance our dynamic sales force. This role primarily involves penetrating a designated territory for J Bar and effectively promoting who we are, what we represent, and what we offer to prospective business clients. The ideal candidate must demonstrate self-motivation, strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organization, and work efficiently under pressure while paying close attention to detail. Our services include the provision and maintenance of Sanitary Restrooms.

As the leading representative of J Bar in a growing market, this high achiever will embody J Bar's Core Values and act with the ownership mentality necessary to attract new clients and boost sales across all rental and service offerings.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Salary: Competitive
  • Territory: Hays County; covering various locations
  • Remote Work: Field-based role with office meetings scheduled weekly

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve or surpass the assigned annual gross margin targets by effectively marketing and selling products and services within the designated territory, adhering to the Company's pricing guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional service to existing clients, promptly addressing customer concerns and reporting potential claims.
  • Oversee daily customer interactions, including setting, monitoring, and exceeding revenue objectives.
  • Establish and nurture short-, mid-, and long-term business relationships by offering professional partnership to clients.
  • Keep management updated on local competition and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, files, and reports of business transactions; assist in the collection of overdue accounts.
  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows, sales meetings, and community events as required.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to address customer objections and concerns, ensuring successful sales outcomes.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of our business and work independently to meet objectives.
  • Consistently prospect and secure new accounts each month.
  • Conduct cold calls to potential clients as per assigned metrics.
  • Generate and confirm appointments through proactive prospecting, maintaining a robust pipeline to achieve sales targets.
  • Develop valuable relationships with prospects in the assigned territory and create new client accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain a steady pipeline of suitable appointments and efficiently guide prospects through the sales process to closure.
  • Respond to leads generated by Inside Sales.
  • Complete the Sales Representative onboarding process while meeting or exceeding assigned performance metrics.
  • Engage in ongoing weekly team meetings and sales training to enhance product and service knowledge.
  • Stay informed about J Bar's products and services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required; experience in the construction or sanitation industry is preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.

  • Capable of thriving in a structured and fast-paced team sales environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and provide strategic business solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and consultative skills.
  • Familiarity with product and payroll knowledge is advantageous.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Strong presentation, organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and Gmail.
