Key Responsibilities- System Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on residential and commercial PV systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively.
- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to inverters, modules, racking, wiring, and monitoring systems to minimize downtime and maximize system performance.
- Performance Testing and Monitoring: Conduct performance testing and system monitoring to ensure optimal operation and identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Communication: Complete service reports, documentation, and customer communications effectively to ensure seamless customer interactions.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient service delivery and achieve company goals.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Experience and Knowledge: 3-5 years of experience as a PV Service Technician or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of PV systems, including inverters, electrical wiring, and safety protocols.
- Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Certifications and Licenses: Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with NABCEP certification a plus.
