Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist with accounting and financial audits as required, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on changes and updates.
  • Provide financial training and support to department leadership and physicians as needed, promoting financial literacy and awareness.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with outside accounting firms, banks, and contracted financial institutions, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism, maintaining the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and payroll management, with a strong background in financial operations.
  • Prior work experience in healthcare preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex).
  • Strong knowledge of Income-Tax Based Accounting, payroll laws, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
