Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse eager to bring your expertise to various locations? We are seeking a Regional LPN to support our centers within the designated area.
As a Regional LPN, your role will involve providing essential nursing support to assigned facilities. You will deliver skilled nursing services to residents in collaboration with the medical care team and oversee the work of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality care for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations within a designated unit or wing.
- Implement nursing techniques to ensure the comfort and well-being of residents; assess each resident daily to monitor their status and promote optimal functioning.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during their rounds.
- Administer prescribed medications, whether orally or via injection; provide treatments using therapeutic equipment; ensure proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.
- Monitor residents' reactions to medications and treatments.
- Document and report changes in residents' conditions to supervisors and attending physicians.
- Maintain accurate medical records for residents as per policy requirements.
- Assist in planning, supervising, and instructing CNAs; assign daily tasks to ensure positive outcomes for residents.
- Implement and uphold established policies and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices.
- Apply proper infection control techniques.
- Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Program and ensure follow-up actions are taken.
- Provide accurate reports to oncoming shift Charge LPNs regarding changes in resident status and necessary follow-ups.
- Contribute to CNA performance evaluations.
- Guide, counsel, and discipline CNAs as necessary; ensure compliance with personnel policies.
- Recommend staffing, equipment, and supply needs to the Director of Nursing Services.
- Account for charges for supplies issued to residents in the unit.
- Engage in the care planning process and ensure the nursing component is executed.
- Uphold residents' rights and coordinate with other departments to facilitate resident participation in activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director of Nursing Services.
- Be prepared to travel to any center within the region/company.
- Be available for overtime, including double shifts.
Qualifications
- Possess a current, unrestricted license as an LPN/LVN from the State Board of Nursing.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate team members.
- Ability to adapt to a variety of duties characterized by frequent changes in work schedules.
- Capable of working closely with residents, physicians, and staff.
- Familiarity with prescribed nursing standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; genuine interest in providing service.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance are required.
