Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Pulse-MD Urgent Care. As a full-time or part-time provider, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities:- Analyze and interpret patients' histories, symptoms, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Consult with or refer patients to specialists when conditions exceed your scope of practice or expertise.
- Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions.
- Detect and respond to adverse drug reactions, with special attention to vulnerable populations.
- Diagnose or treat acute healthcare problems, such as illnesses, infections, or injuries.
- Diagnose or treat complex, unstable, comorbid, episodic, or emergency conditions in collaboration with other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to individual circumstances.
- Maintain current knowledge of state legal regulations.
- Order, perform, or interpret the results of diagnostic tests, such as CBCs, EKGs, and radiographs.
- Perform care procedures, such as suturing, splinting, administering immunizations, taking cultures, and debriding wounds.
- Perform routine or annual physical examinations.
- Prescribe and/or administer medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized.
- Treat or refer patients for primary care conditions, such as headaches, hypertension, urinary tract infections, upper respiratory infections, and dermatological conditions.
- ER or Urgent Care experience and DOT Certification preferred.
- Salary based on experience: $65 per hour for new graduates, $70-75 per hour for two years of experience, $75-80 per hour for five years or more experience, and $90 per hour for Urgent Care or ER specific experience with over 10 years.
