We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Anesthesiology Department as a Pre-Procedural Testing Specialist. In this role, you will work closely with experienced physician and APP colleagues to provide exceptional care to our patients in PPT (Pre-Procedural Testing).
Responsibilities- Perform medical evaluations and document anesthesia assessments
- Coordinate patient preparation for surgical and other invasive procedures that require anesthesia
- Deliver direct patient care in conjunction with members of anesthesia
- Work as part of a collaborative team at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY and HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston, NY
- Board certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- New York State applicable license
- Minimum 1-year of applicable experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interest and abilities in anesthesiology or perioperative care will be considered
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
