Surgical Services Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our surgical services team at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience in trauma, orthopedics, vascular, and acute care surgery, and will work alongside experienced physician and APP colleagues to manage a variety of surgical patients.
Responsibilities:- Performing medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up, and consultations for diverse trauma and acute care surgical patients.
- Delivering direct patient care as part of a collaborative patient care team.
- Gaining a working competency of procedures, including central line placement/removal, insertion/removal of chest tubes, and arterial lines.
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Applicable New York State license.
- Minimum of 1-year experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interest and abilities in surgery will be considered.
