About the Role

Aventon is a pioneering e-bike company that's revolutionizing the way people experience the world. We're on a mission to inspire people to get moving and discover the joy of cycling. As an Industrial Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and helping us expand our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our product development team to create innovative electric bicycles that meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Develop and establish brand icons that reflect our values and mission.
  • Design and develop sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design concepts and ideas to the team.
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in the electric bicycle industry.
  • Use design software and tools to create detailed designs and specifications for production.
  • Work with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible for production and meet cost requirements.
  • Lead design reviews and provide feedback to ensure the final product meets design and quality standards.
  • Participate in user testing to ensure the final product meets user needs and is user-friendly.
Requirements and Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial design, with a focus on consumer products.
  • Proficient in design software and tools, such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, and KeyShot.
  • Strong understanding of the design process, from ideation to manufacturing.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for cycling and an understanding of the electric bicycle industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
