Position Overview: Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Professional to enhance its operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with both prospective and current clients to uncover new business avenues and drive growth.
  • Formulate strategic recommendations for product offerings, private equity initiatives, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and valuation assessments.
  • Prepare and scrutinize documentation utilized in client financing, such as investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitch books.
  • Oversee various work streams to ensure successful transaction completion while adhering to fiduciary responsibilities and guiding clients through the implications of their decisions.
  • Analyze operations, business strategies, and financial forecasts to deliver strategic and financial insights pertinent to M&A, leveraged buyouts (LBO), and capital financing.
  • Support client meetings and collaborate with senior bankers to accurately assess client needs and provide valuable investment and financing guidance.
  • Develop diverse financial models to appraise debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising efforts.
  • Utilize various valuation techniques, including comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) methods.
  • Assist senior bankers in crafting plans to cultivate additional business opportunities by aligning the bank's offerings with client requirements.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a Master's degree or its foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, accompanied by three years of experience in roles such as Investment Banking Associate, Operations Support Analyst, or similar positions focused on investment banking for large corporate clients in LATAM. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the aforementioned fields with five years of relevant progressive experience will be accepted.

The full scope of experience should encompass:

  • Valuation and Credit Analysis
  • Financial Markets
  • IPOs, SPACs, DeSPACs, M&A, Private Placements
  • Capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance, and securities
  • Financial Modeling
  • Macroeconomic principles

At least two years of experience must include proficiency with FactSet, Capital IQ, and Bloomberg Terminal. Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal, is required. Occasional international travel may be necessary.

Compensation: The wage range for this position is between $250,000 and $275,000.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position.
